Donald Trump mockingly urged Nikki Haley to remain in the Republican primary as she officially conceded the race Wednesday.
Haley suspended her campaign for president the morning after suffering a string of losses in the Super Tuesday primary election — as Trump gloated over her defeat and blamed his loss in Vermont on the state's open primary.
"Nikki Haley got TROUNCED last night, in record setting fashion, despite the fact that Democrats, for reasons unknown, are allowed to vote in Vermont, and various other Republican Primaries," Trump posted on Truth Social just minutes after Haley gave a speech suspending her campaign.
"Much of her money came from Radical Left Democrats, as did many of her voters, almost 50%, according to the polls. At this point, I hope she stays in the 'race' and fights it out until the end!"
Trump had previously warned that Haley donors would be "permanently barred from the MAGA camp," but he backtracked Wednesday and asked her supporters to give him their backing in November's general election.

"I’d like to thank my family, friends, and the Great Republican Party for helping me to produce, by far, the most successful Super Tuesday in HISTORY, and would further like to invite all of the Haley supporters to join the greatest movement in the history of our Nation," Trump posted.
"BIDEN IS THE ENEMY, HE IS DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!"
Haley stopped short of endorsing Trump as she halted her campaign on Wednesday, though she said she wished him well — and added that it was now up to him to convince her supporters to vote for him in November's election.
