Microsoft beats Salesforce for a big CRM contract with HP
Microsoft today pulled off somewhat of an upset in the customer relationship management (CRM) market by beating out rival Salesforce.com for a multi-year contract of its Dynamics CRM platform at HP Inc.
According to a press release announcing the deal, HP Inc. will deploy Microsoft’s CRM platform across thousands of its sales staff members for six years. The release notes that HP Inc. will also use Microsoft’s Azure and Office 365 products as part of the deal.
