Horse patiently observes social distancing in supermarket queue
What a good horse.
Markings have appeared outside supermarkets warning people to queue two metres apart and observe social distancing.
And it seems even horse are sticking to the guidelines – according to these pictures at least.
Photos taken by Chris Wharton shows a woman waiting patiently in line outside the Co-op in Highfields Road, Chasetown, at around 6pm on April 25.
The horse didn’t enter the store but was fussed by staff at the entrance while someone bought drinks.
Chris said: ‘I was waiting in my car when a horse saddles up beside me
and joins the queue.
‘It gets to the door, has a fuss while someone goes in to get drinks,
before carrying on up the High street. Hilarious so funny. So glad I
took the photos.’
Others laughed at the unusual sight after it was posted online.
‘They wanted to jump the queue,’ one joked.
While another said: ‘You’re supposed to self-isolate for 14 day if you
start feeling a little horse*’
And a third wrote: ‘Clean up on aisle two, big pile of horse s***’
A fourth also added: ‘Funniest part no one in queue seems to be batting en eye lid – as if to say yeah its normal.’
