EU Ambassador is impressed with Armenian PM’s reform agenda
EU Ambassador remarked this during his meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan, which was also attended by Ambassadors of EU member states accredited in Armenia.
Piotr Switalski emphasized that “he observes the path of creating bright future for Armenia this way.”
The Ambassador said that being Armenia's friend, EU is ready to support Armenia in development of economy, as well as improvement of business field, tax and customs administration.
Touching upon fight against corruption, Piotr Switalski noted that he is impressed with the saturated events, initiated by the government.
Armenian PM informed that the Executive body will put forward certain legislative initiatives in this direction; the structure of Anti-Corruption Council will be changed.
“Strategic initiatives and reform center will be created in the nearest future, and apart from government representatives, our partners from around the world will be involved in the operation, whose experience and knowledge are of great importance for us. They will outline the reforms, that are necessary for our country,” Karen Karapetyan said.
