Armenia attaches importance to development of ties with U.S.
The Armenian Foreign Minister said this during his meeting with Charles Kupchan, Senior Director for Europe at U.S. National Security Service and Special Assistant to the U.S. President.
“I’m happy for the opportunity to discuss the ways of bolstering already strong and multilateral ties between our states which will allow reaching our common goal- free, prosperous and safe Armenia in peaceful co-existence with hits neighbors’’, said the U.S. official.
The sides have stated that Armenia-U.S. visa facilitation agreement came into force in 2015, Armenia-U.S. Trade and Investment Framework Agreement was signed in May 2015 and the session of Armenia-U.S. intergovernmental committee on economic cooperation was convened.
Touching upon the talks around NK peace process, Edward Nalbandian has stressed that Armenia will continue joint efforts with the Minsk Group Co-Chairs toward exclusively peaceful settlement of the conflict.
