Armenian President and U.S. official discuss Armenia-NATO ties
This was stated today by Senior Director for Europe at U.S., National Security Service and Special Assistant to the U.S. President Charles Kupchan at a meeting with Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan.
He noted with satisfaction that Armenia is ready to contribute to NATO’s international and multilateral organizations’ peacekeeping efforts.
Serzh Sargsyan also stated with satisfaction that since the establishment of diplomatic relations, bilateral relations between Armenia and U.S. have developed continuously.
The President highlighted the support provided to Armenia by the U.S. .
The sides touched upon cooperation in the security field, Armenia-NATO partnership and the outlook of Armenia-EU relations during the meeting.
