JFK Airport terminal evacuated after false report of shots fired
Travelers were evacuated from a terminal at New York's John F. Kennedy Airport on Sunday night, after apparently false reports that shots had been fired. A massive police presence searched the terminal, but found no evidence of a shooting, and no victims. The New York Port Authority, which runs the airport, issued a statement late Sunday, saying: "At this time, no gun shells or other evidence of shots fired has been found. The terminal was evacuated out of an abundance of caution."
