Cambridge Analytica's Facebook data accessed from Russia, says report
The Facebook Inc. data set related to the Cambridge Analytica scandal was accessed from Russia, according to a CNN report late Tuesday. Facebook stock was flat in after hours trading. Citing Conservative member of parliament Damian Collins, CNN reported that the Facebook data touching 87 million people was accessed from Russia and other countries. It was not immediately clear who accessed the data and what specifically was accessed. Facebook stock rose 1.33% to $209.99 during regular trading as the S&P 500 index rose 0.4%.
