A bridge was built around a house after the owner refused to move as they were not satisfied with their new flat in eastern China. The video, filmed in the city of Guangzhou in Guangdong Province on August 3, shows a 10-square-metre house left standing in the middle of a newly-built bridge. Local residents were seen visiting and taking pictures of the house, while the house owner Ms Liang was being interviewed. A villager in eastern China grew crops to form the images of coronavirus heroes. The impressive drone, filmed in the city of Jinhua in Zhejiang Province on August 5, shows the images of three Chinese medical scientists, Nanshan Zhong, Lanjuan Li and Wei Chen, and five Chinese characters "salute to the heroes" on a more than 30,000-square-metre crop field. According to reports, it took 20 days for the villager to complete it.

A woman swimming in floodwater narrowly avoided being hit by a car in central China. In the video, shot in the city of Xinxiang in Henan Province on August 4, a woman with equipment swam in the floodwater on a road. However, a car suddenly drove through the area. Snake rescue officials captured and relocated a 10-foot long cobra found in the grounds of a temple in southeast India. A king cobra was spotted by a priest at the temple in Ganjam, Odisha and the Snake Helpline was called to the scene. The officials then captured the deadly snake and relocated it in a safe place. This footage was filmed on August 5.

Beirut civilians line the streets armed with brooms and cleaning equipment as the cleanup operations begin after the devastating blast. Footage filmed on August 6 shows Mar Mikhael locals equipped with brooms and shovels removing the rubble and debris left from the powerful explosion that happened on August 4. Joelle Abou Merhi, who filmed these clips, described the scene as "an apocalypse." "We are still looking for some of our friends! Our homes are gone," Merhi added.

A sand artist from Toronto, Canada captured through timelapse the creative process behind a puppy portrait. Footage shows the portrait being created with different coloured sand within a jar using a small tool that distributes sand along a tracing of the picture on the glass. The filmer, James Sun, wrote: "I made this piece of art in a glass jar using coloured sand. It is a rottweiler with cute eyebrows running towards you." Sun creates many different portraits online under the moniker @fallinginsand.

A man was spotted clinging on the back of a bus driving along a road in eastern China. The video was shot in the city of Wuxi in Jiangsu Province on August 5. According to local reports, the man climbed onto the bus when it was waiting for the red light and the driver did not notice him. The case is being investigated.
