As Israel stepped up its attacks on Palestinian territory, more than 25,000 people in Gaza have been killed or injured.
According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, international media reported on Sunday that the number of Palestinian casualties in Israel’s attacks on Gaza has gone beyond 25,000.
Ashraf al-Qudra, the spokesperson for the Israeli Ministry of Defense, announced on Sunday that 178 people have been killed in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of casualties in Israel’s war against Gaza to 25,105 over more than three months.
The spokesperson for the Gaza Ministry of Health added that just yesterday, 300 people were injured due to Israeli airstrikes on Palestinian soil.
This comes as Israel continues to insist on continuing this war until it achieves its objectives, and more than 100 hostages are still held by Hamas militants.
However, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society also reported that Israel’s rain of bullets in the eastern Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza killed four Palestinians and wounded 21 others.
According to reports, the outbreak of this war has so far displaced about 85% of Gaza’s residents from their homes, which is why hundreds of thousands of people have gathered in shelters and tents under the control of the United Nations in the southern part of this small coastal region.
The United Nations had previously stated that one-fourth of the 2.3 million inhabitants of the Gaza Strip are at risk of dying of hunger because only a very small portion of humanitarian aid reaches them due to the war and Israel’s restrictions.
