In three-month break, top soil at Sultanpur park to change
The forest department has decided to change the top soil at the Sultanpur National Park when it closes for visitors between June and September. As of now, the alluvial plain contains carbonates of lime, usually occurring in nodules called ‘kankar’ locally.
