Covid effect: Prices of vegetables crash
Owing to unseasonal rainfall, the prices of vegetables had climbed steeply in the first week of December with a kilo of tomato costing Rs 100. Now the prices have come down, upsetting the farmers who were hoping to cash in on the demand-supply gap.
