The match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Chennai Super Kings is going to decide the final entrant in the race for IPL 2024 playoffs.

With the tournament coming to its business end, the race for playoffs is getting intense as the Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Chennai Super Kings clash on Saturday (May 18) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is turning out to be the virtual knockout. Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals have already booked their spots in the final four, while Sunrisers Hyderabad are expected to join them.
However, in a viral video, a young supporter has planned to breach the security to enter the field of play during the RCB vs CSK clash. In the video, the youngster revealed his strategy to deceive security and gain social media attention. Sharing the video, several also tagged the Bengaluru Police to take action beforehand.

Meanwhile, rain threat looks large on the game on Saturday. The IMD has already issued Orange alert as persistent rain is expected from May 16 to 22. On the match day, thunderstorms along with rain is expected. In the points table, CSK, with 14 points, are sitting ahead of RCB (12 points). For the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side, a win would be enough to sail into the final four.
On the other hand, RCB need to beat CSK by atleast 18 runs or chase down the required target withing 18.1 overs. According to rain predictors, there is a chance of 80 per cent of rainfall on the match day. By the time match starts, the percentage is expected to go up by 85 per cent, thus ending the possibility of a full 20-over game.
