The seven biggest winners from Day 2 of the 2022 NFL Combine
Who shined on night two of the 2022 NFL Combine?
Day 1 of the NFL Combine concluded with the fastest crop of wide receiver talent in the event’s history. It was only fitting that Day 2 tap into that spirit and let the beefiest boys take a crack at the 40.
The second day of drills opened up with offensive linemen, treating the world to a lineup of physics equations as scouts attempted to figure out the force of an enormous mass accelerating quickly up the Lucas Oil Stadium sideline. More than 16,000 pounds of protein shakes and digested steaks took the field to give the sporting world the jiggle it craves.
And that group delivered. A dozen linemen ran sub-5.0 40-yard dashes, besting the old Combine record of six set in 2013. That gave way to a crop of running backs low on star power but high on potential. Let’s see who among that group made themselves the most money via workout.
