Steph Curry got MVP chants in Barclays Arena and everyone roasted Nets fans for it
Poor, poor Nets fans. They can't catch a break.
Stephen Curry is an absolute rockstar by NBA standards.
There aren’t many players that people get to the arena early for to catch them warming up. Steph Curry is one of them.
He’s got fans all across the NBA. And, after an electric five year run to the Finals by the Warriors, the team has a ton of bandwagon fans, Some of them certainly stuck around after Kevin Durant left.
I say all that to say that it totally makes sense for Curry and the Warriors to have plenty of fans in arenas on the road.
Enough fans for Curry to get MVP chants, though? Apparently so. That’s what happened yesterday for Curry on his way to 37-points in the Warriors blowout of the Nets.
It was WILD to see. Take a look.

And those were only in the 2nd quarter. Curry hadn’t even hit 30 points yet. The Warriors were also actually down by two points. They were losing.
Yet, still. Here Steph is getting MVP chants. On the road. NBA fans absolutely roasted the Nets and their fans for allowing this to happen.
