An SEC fan's guide for Michigan's AG who went too hard at a college football tailgate
What to do next time this happens!
Michigan attorney general Dana Nessel had a good time at the Michigan-Michigan State game Oct. 30. Like, a REALLY good time. So good she had to go home early and apologize for it on Facebook! (Who among us?)
It all started when Nessel attended a Michigan State tailgate before the game and had two bloody marys on an empty stomach because “as long as you put enough vegetables in them, it’s practically a salad,” she said.
It’s unclear what happened between those cocktails and the game but, as she hilariously recounts in her Facebook post, the day went downhill from there.
Dana, look — I’m not so much a tailgating expert as I am someone who’s been tailgating at my alma mater long enough to know what works and what doesn’t. You made rookie mistakes, but you handled them as responsibly and gracefully as can be expected. But chances are you’re going to return to a football game one day, and when you do, you’ll need to be better prepared.
