Aaron Rodgers objected over a non-horse collar call while a play was still live
He was in the middle of being tackled.
You’ve got to give Aaron Rodgers some credit here.
He made his case to referees in Thursday’s 24-21 win over the Arizona Cardinals to call a horse-collar tackle — to be fair, it wasn’t a horse-collar tackle — while in the middle of a play in which he was brought down by a defender.
It made for some fantastic photos and jokes, and even though the Green Bay Packers QB didn’t get his way, it’s another noteworthy play from a game full of them (including the Rodgers meme everyone including Rodgers is talking about).
