This field-level angle of Christian Vázquez's walk-off home run is too good
The highs and lows in this video are pretty incredible.
The Red Sox beat the Tampa Bay Rays last night in dramatic fashion as Christian Vázquez’s walk-off home run in the 13th inning gave Boston a 2-1 series lead and gives them a chance to wrap things up tonight at Fenway.
The Game 3 win did have a touch of controversy, though, as a wild ground-rule double took away at least one run for the Rays in the top of the 13th inning.
But let’s get back to that home run by Vázquez. The catcher sent a 96-mph fastball into the Green Monster seats, which sent Fenway into an absolute frenzy.
I love this field-level shot of the home run, which doesn’t show the ball leaving the yard but shows how excited the Red Sox and their fans were and how in shock the Rays were.
