UFC fans crushed Max Kellerman and ESPN over embarrassing mistakes about Nick Diaz
This was a mess.
The legendary Nick Diaz is making his return to the Octagon on Saturday for the first time in more than six years as he’ll be taking on Robbie Lawler at UFC 266 in Las Vegas.
Diaz, who had a very honest and open interview with ESPN’s Brett Okamoto that you should go watch, is a fan favorite for so many reasons and everyone can’t wait to see him make that walk to Octagon once again.
Nick, of course, is the older brother of Nate Diaz, who is also a UFC star who is beloved by fans.
Well, Max Kellerman had Dana White on his ESPN show this week to talk about Nick Diaz’s fight and things did not go well. First, Kellerman seemed to say Nate instead of Nick and then the production crew showed footage of Nate Diaz fighting instead of Nick Diaz fighting.
This was rough:

Yikes.
ESPN put the video on their MMA YouTube page but clearly edited it – they took out Kellerman saying Nate so it just says “Marks the return of Diaz to the Octagon” and then they put in photos of Nick Diaz and Robbie Lawler.
It starts at the 1:03 mark here:
