NASCAR championship odds for all 16 drivers in the 2021 playoffs
The race to the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series championship officially begins Sunday with the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. It’s the first of 10 playoff races, and the 16 championship contenders will compete for the win, which will automatically advance that driver into the next round.
The NASCAR playoffs have four rounds, and the first three consist of three races with the final race in each round eliminating four drivers from title contention. After the first three playoff races, the playoff field will shrink from 16 drivers to 12, and after the next three, that number will drop to eight. Three more races, and the final Championship 4 drivers will compete at Phoenix Raceway to win it all.
Going into the 10-race playoffs, here’s a look at the championship odds for all 16 NASCAR Cup Series playoff drivers, as of Saturday morning according to Tipico Sportsbook.
