The worst uniforms worn by every NFL team
Nothing can bring down a good team like a bad aesthetic.
Aesthetic matters.
Now, I don’t have any tangible proof that uniforms impact the performance of an NFL team, but that won’t stop me from making the bold claim that they do. Some have used Tom Brady’s triumph in Tampa Bay as proof that he was the key to New England’s success during their dynastic run, but I saw things differently. It was not Brady who changed the fortunes of the franchise; it was the uniform change that powered the Super Bowl run.
The Bucs finally got rid of the cursed alarm clock uniforms and went back to their turn-of-the-century look, which also sparked a turnaround in the team’s performance back then. And what happened in New England? The Patriots changed their uniforms for the first time since Brady was drafted and immediately missed the playoffs.
Coincidence? Maybe, but I’m not going to let that get in the way of a good intro.
The point is, ugly uniforms can drag a team down. So in order to make sure teams are learning from their past mistakes, I’ve picked out the ugliest uniforms every NFL franchise has ever worn.
