NBA fans crushed the Sixers after their monumental collapse in Game 5 loss to Hawks
What a collapse!
The Philadelphia 76ers were in such control of Game 5 against the Hawks on Tuesday night that lots and lots of people opted to change the channel late in the third quarter and go on with their lives.
And that’s when things got really interesting – and really embarrassing for the Sixers.
Philadelphia led the Hawks 85-61 with two minutes left in the third quarter. They also had a 70-44 lead earlier in the quarter.
Then they suffered a collapse of epic proportions and lost the game at home, 109-106.
Unbelievable.
It was a very costly loss, too, as Atlanta now has a 3-2 series lead and will be looking to end things at home on Friday.
The Hawks roasted the Sixers with two savage tweets after their Game 5 comeback win
Look at these numbers:
The Sixers led by 14 after the first quarter.
The Sixers led by 22 at halftime.
