An awesome stat about the remaining NBA teams in the playoffs is good news for fans (and parity)
A team that's never won a title may do it this year.
No LeBron or Steph, no problem.
The fact that the Los Angeles Lakes are out of the 2021 NBA postseason might feel like bad news for non-Lakers fans who wanted to see him and Anthony Davis go for a repeat.
But I have good news for you: aside from the fact that we’ll have a new champion crowned this season, we have a group of teams remaining who could end up either being first-time ring winners or franchises who have waited a while to get back to the top.
The Clippers, Jazz, Nets, Nuggets and Suns have never won. The Hawks last won in ’58, the Bucks in 1971 and the Sixers have been waiting since 1983 for a title.
