Luka Doncic is already one of the most ridiculous playoff performers we've ever seen and these stats prove it
Luka Doncic is on another planet right now
Luka Doncic can barely buy his own beer legally in the United States but he’s already one of the greatest playoff performers we’ve seen in the NBA.
He’s given us nothing but masterpieces in the postseason so far. Granted, all of them have been against the Clippers. But still. They’ve been absolutely incredible.
But Wednesday night may have been his performance yet. There was nothing the Clippers could do with him on the court. He started off the first quarter with 17 points and 5 3-pointers. He ended the game with 42.
What was most impressive, though, was that he either scored or assisted on 31 of the Mavericks’ 37 field goals. That’s absolutely incredible.
But it’s one thing to hear that. It’s another thing to see what it looks like. So here’s a rundown of the Mavericks’ possessions from Rob Perez from start to finish.
in what might be one of the more absurd statistical individual playoff performances in a while, Luka Doncic just scored or assisted 31 of Dallas' 37 total field goals made in a 105-100 win.

That is absolutely ridiculous, fam. Wow. Just legendary stuff from Doncic here. Literally an all-time great game for a guy who has been an all-time great playoff performer so far in his short career.
On the level of one Michael Jeffrey Jordan. He’s averaging nearly as many points as Jordan in the postseason already.
Highest playoff PPG of all time (min 10 games):
33.4 — Michael Jordan
32.8 — Luka Doncic pic.twitter.com/f7xclDMXiy— StatMuse (@statmuse) June 3, 2021
This dude, man. The scary part about this? It only goes up from here. Good luck to the rest of the NBA.
