Reggie Miller called out 'fair-weather' Spike Lee when he thought Knicks superfan left early
"Come on, man!"
Ah, Reggie Miller and Spike Lee. It’s the “rivalry” — I put in quotes because it was more heated back when the Indiana Pacers legend was tormenting the Knicks and he taunted the director at Madison Square Garden — we all love to watch.
After Miller’s playing career was over, Lee and him have had fun during his broadcasting career with photobombs or on Twitter.
And on Wednesday night, as the New York Knicks were minutes away from a first-round playoff series loss to the Atlanta Hawks, cameras caught Lee walking out before Game 5 was over.
To be fair, he returned before the final buzzer. But at that moment, Miller — on the mic with Marv Albert with TNT — thought he was going early.
“Come on, man! That’s a fair-weather fan right there,” he said. “If he wants to be the number one supporter of the Knicks, you’ve got to stay here and take it like the guys on the floor.”

Too funny, even though Lee was back later.
