Current and former NFL players aren't happy about the Jaguars signing Tim Tebow
Including Dez Bryant and Devin Bush.
As of Tuesday midday, nearly 24 hours after news broke that the Jacksonville Jaguars were planning on signing Tim Tebow as a tight end, the name of the former QB/Mets OF was still trending on Twitter.
Part of the reason for that? There were many, many critics of the Jags, including — as you’d expect — current and former NFL players, who cited the fact that he’s in his mid-30s (also, it’s been a while since he’s played in the NFL!) and will be playing a position he’s never played before.
So here’s a roundup of some of the reaction from current NFLers and some ex-players:
I love Tebow too but gahh damn he got more lives than a cat https://t.co/AKimuWvxv1

.@ShannonSharpe on Tim Tebow signing with the Jaguars:
"Everyone knows why Tebow got this opportunity. He's from Jacksonville and they're trying to sell tickets. It's not because he can play." pic.twitter.com/c3fj5H7IXo

So Tebow haven’t played an NFL game in damn near a decade and it’s that simple…no hate but you got to be kidding me
