Four men were arrested after police spotted them in a reported stolen vehicle while they were stopped in traffic in Waterbury on Wednesday.
At 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday, officers were patrolling the area of 881 Wolcott St. when they identified a vehicle recently reported as stolen out of Bristol and that was stopped in traffic, according to the Waterbury Police Department.
As officers conducted a motor vehicle stop, the vehicle attempted to flee and struck two police cruisers before coming to a stop, police said.
All four people in the vehicle were arrested and charged, according to police.

He was being held on a $150,000 bond pending his court arraignment on Thursday.
Quamieck Warthem, 21, and Xylis Clausell, 19, both of Waterbury, and Shane Erdmann, 18, of Bristol, are charged with larceny of a motor vehicle and received a promise to appear for a scheduled court appearance.
