CT state police investigating fatal crash on Route 2 in Lebanon
A Rhode Island woman died after crashing into a bridge abutment off of Route 2 in Lebanon on Wednesday afternoon.
A Rhode Island woman was killed in a single-car crash on Route 2 in Lebanon Wednesday.
Troopers responded to the report of the crash just after 3 p.m., according to Connecticut State Police.
Danielle Helen Tessier, 51, was driving a 2018 Alfa Romeo Stelvio east in the area of Exit 22 when she veered off the left side of the road and struck a bridge abutment, state police said.
According to state police, Tessier of Providence, Rhode Island, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
