Former governor Nikki Haley of South Carolina and Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida are the only two candidates participating in the latest Republican primary debate for the 2024 presidential election. The event is set to take place tonight (Wednesday, January 10) at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, at 9 p.m. ET.
The debate will air on CNN with anchors Jake Tapper and Dana Bash picking up moderation duties. If you’re a cable cord-cutter who wants to stream the debate on your phone, computer, or smart TV, good news: You can stream it free without having to authenticate with a pay-TV provider. We’ve rounded up ways to do that here:
- CNN digital: The easiest way to stream it live is just to visit CNN’s website. The debate stream will be free and you shouldn’t hit a paywall. Likewise, you can download the CNN mobile apps for Android or iPhone devices and watch the debate that way.

- CNN International: Overseas viewers can watch the debate this way.
- Bundled streaming services: If you subscribe to a streaming service that offers CNN, you can watch it that way. Those include: YouTube TV, Hulu+Live TV, and Sling TV.
