As a tech writer for Insider Picks, I'm incredibly lucky to have access to a lot of cool gadgets, both the dirt cheap and the incredibly expensive.
It just so happens that many of my most used and loved gadgets are less than $100, and in some cases less than $50.
Whether you're looking to buy a new pair of headphones to use at work, a wireless phone charger for your iPhone or Android phone , or a cheap media streamer for your TV, you'll find my favorite affordable tech in this list.
A wireless charging pad for your iPhone or Android phone.
AmazonThere are dozens of wireless charging pads that work with the newest iPhones and Android phones, but I like Mophie's best. It's small, supports the iPhone's maximum wireless charging speed (7.5W), and has a rubberized coating that keeps your phone from slipping off of it.

A Bluetooth mouse with customizable buttons.
AmazonI like Logitech's Bluetooth mouse so much I actually have two of them — one for my house, and another for work. It's small, has customizable buttons, and doesn't require you to waste one of your computer's USB ports on a wireless receiver.
Logitech Bluetooth Mouse, $24.95, available at Amazon
A waterproof Bluetooth speaker you can take anywhere.
Instagram / @bravenproductsMost speakers in my life come and go (since I test a whole lot of them year-round), but this small one from Braven continues to serve an important purpose: keeping me entertained in the shower. I attached the speaker to my shower head using the strap Braven included with it a year ago, and it hasn't left that spot.
