Armaan was hurt as Abhira gave wrong statements in the court. But he is not aware that Dadisa was behind this as she had blackmailed Abhira. Abhira gave the wrong statements just to save Madhav and Vidya's relationship. She stepped away from Armaan and we saw Ruhi taking the advantage and she told Vidya about her and Armaan. Vidya keeps the proposal in front of Dadisa and the family agrees for this marriage. Manish opposes this decision and even insults Dadisa.

But Dadisa challenges him and says that she will make sure Ruhi and Armaan get married. On Manish and Swarna's marriage anniversary celebrations, Dadisa even gets Ruhi and Armaan engaged leaving Abhira heartbroken. Abhira is living her life alone and has even lost her job.
