About 10,000 real estate transactions registered in Armenia in January
As many as 9,866 real estate transactions were registered in Armenia in January 2017 – 1.6% more than in the same month a year before, the National Real Estate Cadastre reported on Tuesday.
Compared with December 2016, the number of transactions with immovable property shrank 44.1%.
Yerevan is singled out for the largest number of deals – 33% of the total number, and Vayots Dzor province for the smallest number – 3.6%.
Kotayk province accounted for 11%, Ararat for 6.9%, Armavir for 6.7%, Gegharkunik for 7.6%, Lori for 7.4%, Shirak for 6.5%, Syunik for 6.7%, Aragatsotn for 5.5% and Tavush for 5.1%.
According to the report, 24% of the immovable property transactions registered in January 2017 applied to real estate alienation, 9.8% were primary registration transactions, 9.1% immovable property inheritance transactions, 9.9% mortgage transactions, 7.1% leasing and 39.5% other registrations. 0---
