He told representatives of investing companies as met them today that the government seeks larger investments in the country’s economy and is ready to discuss joint steps with investors to achieve some progress.
Problems connected with the activities of the companies that invest in IT, mining, and food industries as well as energy, agriculture, education and transport communications.
These problems are mostly related to tax and customs administration and diversification of ways of transportation.
Karapetyan proposed the foreign investors to submit their written proposals to concerned agencies and instructed responsible officials to discuss the matter and put the made arrangements into practice.
“If we reach an accord on all the discussed issues, I vow we will carry out our arrangements with an absolute accuracy, but you, representatives of businesses, should say what I have to do and what you have to do to move forward step by step,” he said adding that he is waiting for proposals from them. --0---
