Armenian premier holds farewell meeting with outgoing Argentina ambassador
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Thursday Ambassador of Argentina to Armenia Gonzalo Urriolabeitia, who is completing his diplomatic mission to the country, the press office of the Armenian government reports.
The premier highly valued the Ambassador’s tenure-long efforts aimed at promoting multifaceted relationships between Armenia and Argentina and wished him every success in his future activities.
Nikol Pashinyan stressed that Argentina is a friendly country, with which Armenia entertains a high-level political dialogue.
With reference to economic cooperation, he attached great importance to the presence of the Argentinean Corporación América in Armenia’s economy, noting that Armenia is eager to expand trade and economic ties between the two countries.
The Argentinean diplomat, on his side, thanked the prime minister for appreciation and fruitful cooperation, noting that it was a great honor for him to build on the relations between the two countries.
He emphasized that the ongoing political dialogue is excellent, and there is a huge potential and a mutual willingness to boost economic exchanges.
Nikol Pashinyan pointed out that Armenia is proud of the Armenian community of Argentina, which takes active part in the political, economic and cultural life of the country and plays a major role in the strengthening of bilateral relations.
The premier thanked Argentina for its balanced position on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as for the efforts aimed at recognizing and condemning the Armenian Genocide. -0--
