Armenian and Russian foreign ministers to have a meeting in Munich
Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov will have a meeting on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said during a briefing on Thursday.
Mnatsakanyan is flying to Munich to attend the annual gathering slated for February 15-17. In Munich he is scheduled to have a series of meetings with his counterparts.
The Munich Security Conference is an influential venue where world’s leading political and public figures gather annually to discuss the global challenges and way to overcome them. This year’s forum will be attended by a total of 600 experts in the field of security policy, as well as 35 heads of state and government, and 80 ministers of defense and foreign affairs. -0-
