AKA leads SA’s #AFRIMMA2016 nominees
AKA, Cassper, Black Coffee, Nathi, Lira and Zonke are among the SA stars nominated at the US-based awards show.
|||SA rapper AKA has been nominated for five gongs at the African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA).
The hip hop star Artist of The Year, Best Male Southern Africa, Best Rap Act and Song of The Year (for Make Me sing, alongsid Diamond Platnumz).
He’s also been nominated for Best Collaboration for Diamond Platnumz’s Make Me Sing and Video of The Year on Stanley Enow’s Bounce.

Host for the event is ‘Africa’s #1 comedian‘ Basketmouth and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Cynthia Bailey.
The show is billed as “the sole award ceremony in the Diaspora that caters to all musical genres including but not limited to: Afrobeats, Assiko, Bongo, Decale, Funana, Genge, Highlife, Hiplife, Kwaito, Lingala and Soukous.”
