​EURO2016: Germany brush aside Northern Ireland resistance

Germany comfortably made the knockout stages of the Euros with a 1-0 success over Northern Ireland and have still to concede a goal in this years competition.

Northern Ireland went in at half-time trailing by just the one goal after being totally outplayed by a dominant Germany team who have won 12 of their last 15 games at major tournaments. By the end of the opening 45 minutes it was damage limitation for the Irish side.
