Ever since Prince Harry showed off his parenting skills, jokily scolding a little boy for pulling his wife’s hair and then catching two-year-old Emily Henson stealing his popcorn at last year’s Invictus Games, fans have been waiting for the 34-year-old Prince to become a father himself.

And now it seems the time is here, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announcing the news that they were expecting a royal baby in Spring 2019, just a few months ago.

Since the announcement, the couple have voiced their happiness at their future arrival, with Meghan telling fans that they were excited to ‘join the parenting club’ while Prince Harry let slip a nickname for the future royal baby – ‘our little bump’.

Last week, a month before his baby’s due date the prince gave us a look at his parenting skills as he met a newborn baby, but it’s an interaction this week that has got everyone talking about the expectant father.

While visiting St. Vincent’s Catholic School in Acton this week, the prince reportedly crouched down to talk to some excited school children.

One little boy, 4-year-old Emmanuel Osei, reportedly asked the prince, ‘When is the real Prince Harry coming?’, to which the 34-year-old replied: ‘I’m the real Harry’.

And when the little boy didn’t seem too convinced, Harry reassured him, explaining: ‘I’ve had my hair cut for the occasion’, giving him a high five.

‘They thing he should have a crown,’ explained the nearby teaching assistant, Diane Redmond via People, something that Prince Harry spoke about, referencing his trip to Florida.

‘I’m worried because the American kids, especially next to Disney World, are going to be thinking: “You ain’t no prince, you ain’t dressed like a prince,”’ he joked. ‘So I am going to pack a crown and a cape this time and some funny pointy-toed shoes.’

Like we needed proof that Prince Harry would make an incredible dad!
