Yerevan mayor hails developing Armenia-Kuwait relations
Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan highly praised the developing relations with Kuwait as he hosted the country’s newly-appointed ambassador in his office on Tuesday.
Congratulating Nawaf Abdul Aziz Al-Enezi on starting a diplomatic mission in Armenia, the mayor expressed the Yerevan City Hall’s readiness to assist the Kuwaiti Embassy in all matters within its competence.
The mayor said he also sees broad perspectives for the implementation of joint projects.
“The Armenian-Kuwaiti relations are developing at regular paces, with the bilateral cooperation expanding by every year. Hence, we attach a great importance to fostering the relations between the two [countries’] capitals,” Margaryan said, according to the municipality’s press service.
Thanking the mayor for a warm reception and kind wishes, the ambassador promised to do everything within his power to contribute to the further strengthening of the good-neighborly relations.
The sides also agreed to initiate joint discussions between responsible officials to outline priority trends for investments in Armenia’s capital.
