The United States has criticized Nato ally Turkey over ‘unacceptable clashes’ with Syrian opposition forces in northern Syria. The U.S. says clashes take the focus away from the fight against Islamic State/ISIS. The terrorists were driven out of the area last week and could go on to capture other territories. The U.S. wants Turkey to stay focused on ISIL/ISIS and not to bombard ISIS’s enemy, the Syrian Defense Forces, who are predominantly Kurd.
