Expert: Armenia and Hay Dat should demonstrate Azerbaijan's terrorist image to the world
The Armenian Foreign Ministry and Hay Dat should demonstrate Azerbaijan's terrorist image to the world, editor-in-chief of Lebanon-based Azdak Daily Shahan Gantaharyan told reporters on April 21.
He stressed that the world should understand that it is impossible to live in the region, where there is a terrorist state. The latest evidence of that fact was the Azerbaijani army's atrocities against the residents of Talish and the Armenian servicemen, he said.
Gantaharyan noted that the neutrality of Armenia's strategic ally Russia and its political statements regarding the April war do not actually differ from the statements of the western countries and international organizations.
He thinks such neutrality contributes to continuation of the peace process given Russia's mediation role in the Karabakh conflict settlement. In this light, he said, Moscow simply could not support either of the conflicting of the parties.
