What Saraki did on the last day of social media week, 5 major takeaways (see photos)
The Social Media Week Lagos conference entered its last day today, February 26.
One of the guest speakers was the Senate president, Bukola Saraki. He spoke on how social media promotes inclusive and participatory governance.
Some of the sessions today were;
– Channeling fashion: How African fashion media and brands tell the African fashion narrative
– A beautiful mind – opening up about mental health
– The place of technology in building a brand and a host of other topics.
There were other sessions that had to do with fashion, using the social media and the game changers in the 2015 general elections
Below are five major highlights from today’s sessions.
1. The controversial sections of the Frivolous Petition Bill that relate to social media will not pass at the Senate, Saraki said.
