YFT: Why the Kaaba is the first house on earth
– The Kaaba is the holiest building in the world
– Currently, Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari is in Saudi Arabia performing Umrah
The religion of Islam has so much historical details. These facts include the stories of the Prophets of Allah (peace upon their souls), how the heavens and the earth were created, the first man on earth, the foundation and building of Kaaba as well as other ones.
The Kaaba
In chapter 3 of the Glorious Qur’an, verses 96 and 97, Allah said: “Surely, the first house built for mankind is the blessed Kaaba (also known as Bakah). It was made as a guidance to all human beings.

“In that House of Allah, we made conspicuous signs regarding the footprints of Prophet Ibrahim (peace upon his soul) while he was building the Kaaba with his son Prophet Ismaa’il (peace be upon his soul). Any human being who enters there will become a person with tranquility. Allah has made performing Hajj for people who have the financial and physical strength a way of life by doing some religious rites at the Kaaba. Anyone who disbelieves in visiting the Kaaba to pay homage should know that Allah is more than rich than all the creatures in the world.”
These two verses explain how the Kaaba was constructed and its spiritual importance to not just Muslims but all mankind.
Before Prophets Ibrahim and Ismaa’il embarked on renovating the Kaaba, Allah had initially ordered his Angels to build the Kaaba on earth when there was no single house on earth. The house was built by the Angels so that Prophet Adam, the first man created by Allah would worship Allah there.
One of the unique things that has been scientifically confirmed by scientists is that the Kaaba is the only building that is at the centre of the world. This is why there is no Muslim that will pray without facing the Kaaba. Also, the energy generated by this house is the most intense. The Kaaba is also the most visited house annually in the world. There is no gathering that witnesses visitation from people from all the languages, colours, cultures, traditions and other diverse features of the world as the Kaaba witness. One big addition about the Kaaba is that there is no supplication or prayer that a Muslim offers there that is not instantly accepted by Allah.
