The source added that: “It is definitely connected to the suit filed by Adgebe against the commission on the infringement of his fundamental human right.”
However, speaking to Naij.com, the spokesperson for the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren said he is not aware of the relocation of Adegbe.
“I am not aware of this movement,” Uwujaren said. Also, the defence spokesperson, Rabe Abubakar denied knowledge of the relocation of Adgebe, “Why must he be moved from EFCC to the military?” Abubakar asked.
“Well, actually, you know I am not a member of that committee, and also on a very serious note, we are solidly behind the investigation; not only the ADC to the former president but other person who is deeply involved in this kind of thing,” Abubakar said.

He said the currently investigation has a link to national issue and the military is solidly in support of the investigation.
“I cannot confirm whether he was moved to the military, what I know is that those who were indicted are shedding more light in the ongoing investigation and all hands must be on deck to get to the root of this,” he said.
Adegbe was detained by the EFCC on Thursday, February 11 after he was called back from a military course in the United Kingdom. On his return, he had reported himself to the army provost marshal and subsequently the EFCC where he was detained.
Also, on Thursday, Adegbe through his counsel, Ogwu Onoja filed a suit against the anti-graft agency for an infringement on his fundamental human rights at an Abuja High Court.
