Sensus was cooperating only with Israel-based Tadiran Batteries, the world’s second largest lithium primary battery company, before Vitzrocell made a pitch to Sensus. Vitzrocell emphasized a lower risk from having multiple battery suppliers, while it vowed shorter delivery times with reasonable prices.
