Armenian court granted Archbishop Arshak`s defense team`s motion to recuse the judge

ArmInfo.An Armenian court has granted the motion of Archbishop Arshak Khachtaryan's ( head of the chancery of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin) defense team to recuse Judge Gevorg Manukyan of the Armavir Regional Court of General Jurisdiction. The corresponding decision was made on March 25 during a hearing on the Archbishop's case in the Armavir Regional Court of General Jurisdiction.
It should be noted that the lawyers filed the motion based on the judge's close relationships with members of the investigative bodies involved in the case.
