PORTLAND, Maine – When York High School’s boys hockey team formed a co-op with Biddeford and Old Orchard Beach entering the 2025-26 season There was no way of knowing whether the players from the different communities would mesh, or how the team would gel. On Saturday, March 7 at Cross Insurance Arena, those questions were answered as the Class B South champion Wildcats won the Class B state championship with a 3-2 win over North champion Hampden Academy.
