Armenian police uncovers criminal group linked to homicides and robberies in the country
ArmInfo. The Criminal Police of the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs has uncovered a criminal group involved in planned murders, robberies, and burglaries across the country. A criminal case has been opened against 10 individuals. According to the Ministry's press service, the group acquired illegal weapons and ammunition to facilitate their activities.
Police note that the group, by interfering in interpersonal and financial disputes among various individuals, sought mediation and support from high-ranking figures within the criminal underworld. They also participated in organized meetings and activities associated with criminal subculture.
The department emphasized that as a result of operational and investigative measures, members of the criminal group were identified and arrested.
