The fight for Palestine is a feminist struggle!

In these days of historical resistance, the Palestinian women raise their voice to ask the feminist of the world: they do not fail us. While our people suffer a genocide, international complicity condemns us to silence.

Dear companions and sisters of revolutionary feminist movements.
Companions in the struggle for justice and liberation:

Today we go to you on behalf of the Palestinian women of Gaza, and of all Palestinian women, inside and outside our land. We send you the clamor of the Palestinian woman who resists in the heart of hell: in a bleeding gaza, in collapsed houses on the bodies of girls and boys, in refugee tents in Rafah, Deir Al-Balah and Jan Yunis, in alleys that overflow bombarded, hungry, displaced and deprived of the most basic human rights.

For more than 22 months, Gaza suffers a system of systematic extermination at the hands of the Zionist occupation regime, with the direct support of US imperialism and European governments. Despite the massacres, Gaza’s women are still standing: firm, fighters, defending their land and their families, in hospitals, in shelters, in the streets and in the resistance, both popular and armed, facing a brutal colonization and without mercy.

Palestinian women have always been the fire of the revolution, their inexhaustible engine, the pillar of each survey against occupation and the massacre. From the combatant mother to the prisoner, the martyr, the leader, the nurse, the teacher or the combatant, the Palestinian woman has always been on the front line with her classmates, protecting the existence of our people, her identity and her dignity, raising the flag even when the world tried to break it down. He has never been apart from the fight: he has been in his heart, paying a very high price, resisting with patience, strength and unwavering faith.

Tens of thousands of Palestinian women have been killed, hundreds of displaced thousands; He has attacked pregnant women, infant mothers, doctors, nurses and journalists. Atrocious crimes have been committed against us. And yet, the world has silent. Most international feminist movements have also silenced that have proclaimed their “solidarity without borders.” In these 22 months, we have missed some great demonstration organized by Western feminisms that claim to defend women’s rights.

From the Women of Palestine – Alkarama movement, we call you to assume your moral, political and historical responsibility. There is no authentic or progressive feminism that can ignore the massacres suffered by the Palestinian people, or remain silent before this extermination and hunger policy, executed with colonial and Zionist weapons, and with the complicity of Western governments.

Real solidarity – a human, human – cannot be conditional or subject to petty political calculations. It arises from the moral duty to be with the victim in front of his executioner, next to the oppressed in front of the genocidal and occupant regime. Gaza’s women do not need compassion or pity. We need firm and radical positions that embody the principles that claim to defend feminist movements worldwide: the fight against colonialism, oppression and systematic violence. We do not ask for a custom solidarity, but a sincere commitment that recognizes that the struggle of the Palestinian woman is an inseparable part of the struggle of all humanity.

Nor do we need “feminist” voices that seek to impose conditions on our people and our women regarding the alliances that the Palestinian resistance establishes to sustain our firmness. Therefore, we greet our sisters from Yemen, Lebanon, Iraq, Morocco, Iran and South Africa, who today lead international feminism with justice, with their firm support to our people. And we denounce the feminist sectors that are sold as “leftist” and “progressive” while in reality promote normalization with the Zionist regime, in the name of “dialogue”, “peace” or “understanding between women”: empty slogans that only seek to confuse and weaken the fight.
