CID 2 has got all the love from the audience. The show has been popular since 1998 and after a successful run for 20 years, the show went off-air. But, fans never want this to happen and hence, kept requesting the makers to bring back the show. In 2024, the second season of CID began. They were then asked who laughs on Pankaj's silly jokes. They both say it is Shreya. Further, they were asked who is punctual amongst them. Shreya said that they both are fairly punctual. Daya admitted that he was not punctual in season one. But now, he is also on time. So this season both are on time.
